The Investment Committee

Anders Anderson

The Polar Music Prize endowment is managed by an investment committee carefully selected to represent a mix of leading academic scholars and practitioners in the financial market. We have been very fortunate to have had Professor Magnus Dahlquist, Hans Fahlin, and Peter Norman on our team. Since last year, Peter has left us for becoming the Financial Markets minister, and we would like to express our deep gratitude for his work and to wish him the best of luck for the future. It was not easy to replace Peter, but since spring 2011, we are very happy to welcome Jan Häggström, chief economist of Svenska Handelsbanken to the committee. Last but not in any way least, we have our Senior Advisor Professor Harrison Hong to lean on to when we get too exuberant or lose faith in financial markets. Harrison is not only one of the leading financial economists in the world – he is also a music lover and much appreciated friend of the organization surrounding the prize.
Thank you all for making the money grow, and letting the music flow.
