THE POWER OF MUSIC
Nu är det inte långt kvar till årets upplaga av Polar Music Prize. Över 500 har redan osat till festiviteterna den 30 augusti. Vi har länge tänkt att det skulle vara spännande att ta tillvara på att så många fantastiskt begåvade människor från samhällets alla delar (musik, näringsliv, konst, forskning, politik, internationella gäster och naturligtvis pristagarna, för att nämna några) samlas på en och samma dag. I år tänkte vi göra slag i saken! Därför startar vi nu Polar Music Sessions som kommer att äga rum mellan 09.00-13.00 samma dag som prisceremonin. Polar Music Sessions blir en förmiddag av inspirerande verbala ”jam sessions”, där vi blandar inspirerande tal med trendspaningar, paneldebatter, diskussioner och underhållning. Årets tema är The Power Of Music. Temat sätter fokus på hur musik och underhållning blir en allt viktigare del av samhället och där nya kanaler förändrar spelreglerna och skapar möjligheter inom såväl kultur som näringsliv för alla oss som älskar att skapa och njuta av musik. Evenemanget är kostnadsfritt men inbjudan är strikt personlig eftersom antalet deltagare är begränsat.
